Southern Sun – Maputo

Exporting products is always a challenge together with the logistics of getting
goods to site in one piece. This was no different on this project. Very little is available in Mozambique which makes planning within the procurement process of great importance.

The intent was to create an authentic Mediterranean experience. As such bespoke detailing of pattern from fret cut panelling to specially manufactured materials was essential.

The mood changing restaurant is unique. It changes from a cool blue restaurant to a warm cosy red hued room at night. This is made possible by the use of colour changing LED lighting, furniture pieces which swop out and dressing of tables from day / night, which appropriately changes from informal during the day to formal at night.
